Eco-Cha Sources

We personally visit all of our sources, most when they are doing the actual harvesting and processing, and then on a regular basis throughout the year. 

We know all of our sources very well and we see first hand that they sell only what is produced locally and in their immediate communities. 

We work with farmers that are dedicated to the tradition of Taiwanese tea and treat it as a heritage product, that means they take pride in local, Taiwanese produce. If you’d like to read more detail about this particular farmer check the origin tab of these teas on our website.

We're based in Taiwan (20 minutes from tea country) and have been sourcing tea here since 1993 (we've lived here since 1989), so when we want to visit a farmer, we just take a drive.
